"There is always room for improvement."

This is an old saying but so very true. There are always opportunities to improve quality and save money in both newly formed and long established companies. Unfortunately quality and quality costs are usually identified with the production department of textile factories whereas the major inefficiencies may well be in the Sales and Administration departments. Late deliveries can arise from administration and logistics errors as well as production problems.

We adopt a whole-company view of quality, auditing all activities and then identifying opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.

We build teams within the company to focus on the priority problems, identify the causes and implement solutions. If necessary, we can bring in specialists to help solve specific problems. By providing training services, we ensure that the company has the skills to establish quality assurance systems within its own business and is not dependent on outside help.

Based on this approach, quality improvement programmes have been successfully implemented in a large UK worsted mill, a major UK weaving mill and also a retail garment chain with significant savings in costs.
